Sweet. What books is he reading?
Wow!
Most excellent!
I once knew a librarian who could have qualified for that tattoo. She seemed determined to break the stereotype of the shy, receding type.
Cute shot.
Marianne, he’s reading Ranganathan, and um… Treasure Island?
I didn’t see that one coming!
Blogged. This is the best graduation present EVAR.

Seen in the interestingness archives. (?)
I lurve it. Yay for tattooed librarians!
Holy smoke! That is a great tattoo. Has it mellowed with age?
It’s only about four months old — it’s a little less vivid after healing, but only a little. I need to have the skull outline touched up a bit and will probably thicken the glasses outline just slightly to make it stand out.

Hi, I’m putting together a book of literary tattoos, and we’d love to have this!
If you’re interested in being in the book, please e-mail me at tattoolit@gmail.com. We need images of at least 600 dpi, higher if possible, along with a few words about the tattoo’s meaning to you, who did the work, and anything else you want to say. More info here: htmlgiant.com/?p=19253
Thanks!
